Konya Metropolitan’s ‘Climate-Driven Game Development Hackathon’
The Konya Metropolitan Municipality is organizing a “Climate-Driven Game Development Hackathon” with the participation of 17 university students over the age of 128 from different cities in Turkey. The aim of the 7-day event, which started at Beyşehir Campsite as Go Game, is for young people to show off their talents in the game industry and socialize.
The “Climate Focused Game Development Hackathon” organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality has started.
Organized by the Youth Council of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the hackathon called Go Game is important for young people to show their talents in the game industry, develop educational games and socialize.
In Beyşehir Camping Area of Konya Metropolitan Municipality; In the hackathon, which was attended by 17 university students over 128 from different cities in Turkey, especially Konya, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, young people are also invited to develop climate-focused games. During the 7-day hackathon, participants try to draw attention to the Zero Plastic and Cardboard Waste theme without using printing materials in the campsite.
The Konya Metropolitan Municipality supports young people who are interested in software, as well as open games, design, animation and digitization departments in universities.
