Keywords Studios News: Keywords Studios launches line of game development services in India

Game art and animation company Keywords Studios has launched a service line for game development in India to be led by its Lakshya Digital arm.

“I look forward to continuing to invest in the region to support our rapid growth across all keywords. What strikes me the most is the level of talent, passion and entrepreneurial spirit to support our global clients,” said Bertrand Bodson, CEO of Keywords Studios.

“We want to replicate the successes of our Lakshya inGame program with the Keywords inGame Academy and partner with the Government of India as we believe in the power of one million graduate engineers every year.”

The game development service line will focus on providing technical support to businesses across the globe as well as opening up opportunities for talent in India. India is set to be one of Keywords’ main development hubs for game development, with teams planned in Bengaluru, Gurgaon, and Pune.

Keywords already has three service lines operational in India: art, localization and functional quality assurance.

Manvendra Shukul, CEO of Lakshya, said, “Game development (engineering) is one of the most sought-after services in the pipeline, with huge benefit for the gaming industry in India. The abundant talent in India will take it to the next level by delivering state-of-the-art video game projects.
