[ad_1]

GOALS, a brand new free football game is on the way and ready to rival FIFA and eFootball!

Find out everything there is to know about the latest football sim here, which is looking to transform the market.

Latest – Game Design Reveal

GOALS has released a full game design, outlining plans for the new game and giving us a look at what to expect this season.

We already knew the game would be free, but now we know much, much more!

Features such as crossplay have been confirmed and in-game assets may have real monetary value.

Check out the complete GOALS game design overview.

Release date

GOALS remains in early development and was only announced on 22nd of July 2021.

So, there is no confirmed release date yet, but we will keep you updated with any information regarding when you can get your hands on the next version.

Trailer

The first trailer was released on the official GOALS YouTube channel on December 14, 2021.

Watch the official trailer below:

Unfortunately, this trailer doesn’t offer any gameplay insights.

However, we expect a new gameplay trailer to be released in the coming months, so stay tuned!

The announcement trailer highlights that the game is “esports ready”, so we can’t wait to see what that really means in the weeks to come.

Platforms

Cross-play will be a big feature for GOALS, with the game being playable on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

We think it’s pretty safe to say that GOALS will be available on both previous-gen and next-gen consoles.

Neither eFootball nor FIFA 22 currently have the cross-play feature implemented.

Cost

One of the most anticipated features of the title is this idea of ”free to play”.

eFootball recently made the change to become a free game, but still offers plenty of micro-transaction possibilities.

So, the idea of a football sim being totally free to play is something that most gamers will be thrilled with.

What to expect

GOALS will feature a marketplace similar to that found in FIFA Ultimate Team, except that all items will be fully owned by the player.

The game’s official website states the following:

“Each asset will belong entirely to the player and can be traded freely in an open market. The choice will be easy when you compare GOALS to other football games: enjoy better gameplay and get rewarded for your time. Play-AND- win.

It’s not just in the game’s free-to-play model that should challenge FIFA and eFootball, Goals is also looking to conquer the competitive scene.
